My rainy Maine morning off. These have been set, dried and skeined. Was gonna do some combing today...Solar.....but I like to do that outside, so I think I'll wash and dye a little mohair.....
 

been a while

I've moved into an old house in Winter Harbor, Maine. I am a part of The Wednesday Spinners. I am going to be getting two ewe lambs from Darthia Farm this Spring. Their names will be Thelma and Louise. I realized that the blog that I started (this one) a while back is now going to take on a new meaning!

Kitten got a toy. it was a sheep. She loved him. She lost him. I purchased her a new one, but she was disinterested in him. I found the original one day and she played with him like crazy! Now she had two sheep to play with, but Original sheep was her favorite. When I woke up in the mornings, both sheep were out and i'd always say to her, "were those two bad sheep bothering you again?!" and she would greet me as she always does. I love her!

Anyway, it was a funny name for a blog since I liked to spin and knit, so I created it. I'm terrible at staying current on any sort of internet based stuff, so here I am, quite a while later, realizing that:


2. I'm getting two girl sheep and I am going to love them!

Here is where I can post the millions of pictures I am bound to take of them!  and the yarn I spin (and sell if you are interested in any handspun yarn from Maine!)
